Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Onsite Construction Superintendent with a strong background in commercial building projects. The Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the primary point of contact between subcontractors, vendors, and the project management team, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily on-site construction operations, including scheduling, supervising subcontractors, and monitoring progress.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with project plans, specifications, and local building codes.
  • Enforce safety regulations, leading by example to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scope of work.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Solve problems that arise on the job site quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines.
  • Maintain clear communication between all stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and project managers.
  • Ensure documentation, such as daily reports, logs, and as-built drawings, are accurately maintained.
  • Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, ensuring high levels of productivity and morale.
  • Assist with preparing for and passing final inspections, securing certificates of occupancy, and closing out the project.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in commercial construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple subcontractors, trades, and complex project logistics.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
  • OSHA certification and other safety-related certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with large-scale commercial construction projects such as office buildings, retail centers, or industrial facilities.
  • Familiarity with construction project management software like Procore, Buildertrend, or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality control.
  • Some Spanish comprehension/speaking a plus

Position Description: Working as an integral part of the Construction Project Team, the Project Accountant will provide quality financial services to the project which include job cost analysis, reporting, contract compliance, billings, requisition/invoice processing.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all financial inquiries in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure project setup financial/accounting requirements are complete
  • Monitor and analyze the financial status of projects
  • Ensure monthly owner billings are accurate and complete in accordance with owner contract and recorded and using AIA construction documents
  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable aging and drive proactive collection efforts
  • Ensure project’s vendor invoices and subcontractor requisitions are processed/approved/paid accurately & timely for monthly billing cycles.
  • Preparation of monthly cost report and cash flow projections
  • Ensure contract files are maintained and compliant with all contract requirements, executed documents, insurance, bonding, lien waivers, sales tax laws etc.
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance processes are adhered to and maintained
  • Ensure jobs are reconciled accurately and closed out timely
  • Perform various project related analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Support insurance audits
  • In house Payroll- initiating direct deposits to pay employees, W-2’s
  • Processing payments to utilities & vendors for supplies & other expenses

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional time-management skills to ensure deadlines are met while providing accurate
    deliverables
  • Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to effectively multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships
  • Must display initiative and independent thinking
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required
  • Construction industry and/or project accounting experience necessary
  • On site Part time position – to perform ALL accounting duties
  • 5 or more years experience
